Demineralization Plants (DM Plants)

DM Plants use ion-exchange technology to remove almost all dissolved mineral salts from water. The water passes through cation exchange resins (which remove positively charged ions like Calcium and Magnesium) and anion exchange resins (which remove negatively charged ions like Sulfate and Chloride). This process produces "deionized" or "demineralized" water, which is chemically pure. DM water is critical for high-pressure boilers to prevent mineral buildup and is a fundamental requirement in the manufacturing of semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and high-end cosmetics.
